DrEAMi! #17

Welcome to another month of 'fessing up on your quilty (or is that guilty) distractions! I had a DrEAMi! this month! First time in a while, not that I haven't been tempted. Soooo tempted.
Off Pinterest but the link to the original site is broken
I used this wonderful painterly fabric in pinks and blues:

It's called 'Color Calypso' by Greta Lynn for Kanvas, in association with Benartex. I had a super-tight deadline which I met, yay me.

Bella loved it and did her usual pose, which you saw in the previous post but it's worth putting it in a second time; she won't mind...

Unfortunately because of the DrEAMi!, and TGIFF being hosted by me yesterday, and then being away all weekend and then some, the Island Batik Modern quilt challenge quilt isn't going to be done quilting by the June 30 deadline...

However, I started drawing my plan on it and I'm so pumped! My fingers are quite literally tingling with the desire to quilt this up, and I don't know how I'm going to wait until Tuesday! But wait I will.

You may want to check Instagram @mmmquilts  for what I'm going to be up to...something that has been in the works for a couple of months now!
Here's a hint:
The website where I got this photo is here
Let's see the wonderful sidetracked moments that happened to you this past month.

I wholeheartedly appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment, as they make my day! I answer every one by personal email. :-) Unless... you are a "no-reply" blogger, which can occur for a few reasons. You can get around that by writing out your email within your comment so that I can answer you.
