Postcard from Sweden QAL Step 3

And here we are at Step 3. I've sure been enjoying seeing the beautiful quilts in various stages from HST squares to entire flimsies on Instagram! If you want a feast of bright colours for your eyes, check out #postcardfromswedenqal2022

For today you are to have the first five rows sewn together. And? I have a little surprise for you today!

First of all, in case you missed it on Instagram, my first 1/3 of the quilt is done!

I actually have the first six rows done because I sewed the HST units into 4-patches.😉

I thought it would be fun to have a linkup here on the blog for this first check-in. I'll leave it open until Monday midnight, because what's a deadline without a little breathing room, right? (even though personally I work very well to a hard deadline...)

So, link up your first third of the quilt, or more if you've got more done. I will choose one person form the linkups who will win their choice of one of the 15 patterns in my Etsy shop, SandraJaneQuilts!

You now have two weeks, that's until February 26, to sew the next five rows of the quilt together and join all ten rows together.

If you do not have a blog or Instagram, then email me a photo of your quilt top thus far and I will post it to Instagram for you, and then link it up below.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. They're all so pretty! How nice of you to give along-ers a chance to win one of your patterns.

  2. Sadly I haven't made much progress. I'm hoping to catch up in the next two weeks.

  3. I cannot find the Postcards from Sweden pattern. Can you help me?

  4. I'm sewing ahead and I'm currently working on row N. In following the fabric layout guide, block N1 is using colors 36 (pale green) and 14 (green-yellow). And that seems to agree with the quilt layout mapping as well. But, when I look at the photo of the quilt on the cover of the pattern, the block has a yellow in the upper left corner instead of pale green. Did you find this to be the case too? Or am I going blind?
