Island Batik Log Cabin Blog Hop Final Week

It's the final day of Island Batik's Log Cabin blog hop, so I thought I'd pop in with a parade of this week's quilts and a reminder to be sure to enter the giveaways on the ambassadors' blogs, as well as on Island Batik's blog. All of these collections should be available in quilt shops now.
My own quilt is shown below. The sun is out this morning, so I took another photo which you can see at the end of the post.
Centred

Connie at Kauffman Designs also used Prairie Skies.

She made this gorgeous quilt.
Connie made a second quilt with this line, but we all have to wait a few months until it comes out in the September McCall's Quilting issue.

Denise and Allison used Mesa Verde.

Denise at For the Love of Geese made this fantastic quilt. So ingenious!

Allison's quilt at Little Bunny Quilts, is just lovely, and she has a pattern available for it!

Pamela, Maryellen and Jen used Primo.
Pamela of Pamela Quilts made two!

Maryellen of Mary Mack's Blog made an Eleanor Burn's classic.
Jen at Dizzy Quilter made a fantastic improv quilt.
It's hard to believe all four of these quilts are the same collection!

Vasudha and Carol used Sunset Blooms.
Vasudha's quilt of Storied Quilts is so Vasudha. This woman is a WHIZ at math (well, duh she's an engineer) and a WHIZ at manipulating blocks. No smoke and mirrors, just ingenious math.
More incredible math and a twist on tradition can be found in Carol's breathtaking quilt at Carol Moellers Designs.

Here's the sunshine shot of mine I promised. Isn't the Log Cabin block just so very versatile? I hope your creative juices are stirred up big time!
You can find Week 1's Roundup here.
You can find Week 2's Roundup here.

Be sure to enter the sweet giveaway on Island Batik's blog; they ship anywhere in the world! There are also giveaways at each ambassador's stop!

I've used my quilt to sit my sit bones on when I teach yoga no less than three times this past week! Remember, if you want to make this quilt, it will be offered as a free QAL on my blog at the beginning of April and will run through June 15. A very relaxed pace! I'll be back in March with some fabric and dates details.

Remember if you chased a squirrel, there is a linkup tomorrow on my blog for that Drop Everything And Make it! affliction, aka DrEAMi!

And here's another squirrel for you: Connecting Threads (affiliate link) has a terrific deal on until tomorrow 11:59 PST...

Like that is crazy, and one that oh, you bet, I have taken advantage of many a time. Hello backings! The deals on kits are off the charts good. AND free shipping on orders over $65 (US), $85 (CA) and $100 (AUS) which is just an added (an appreciated) bonus. Any fabric diet I have been on since last year just went out the window between bluprint, Florida, and now Connecting Threads. And Sew Sisters (no affiliation just love) has a very substantial clearance department, and at $6.99/metre to $11.99/metre (39" so about 10% more fabric than a yard) it makes for some awesome deals there too.
