DrEAMi! #57

Welcome to another edition of Drop Everything And Make it and to my menopausal brain-lack-of-power at times! Sorry this post is out late; I got all excited to be doing Ashtanga yoga with David Robson online this morning (he's in Toronto, but world-renowned) that I didn't even remember it was DrEAMi time until I got home from a Shoppers' Drug Mart run.😬I even HAD a DrEAMi this past week, and I have a cute squirrel photo I saved on my phone but do you think I can recall where I saw it?! Maybe Pinterest....

Like nuts, DrEAMi projects are meant to be shared, right?  Let's scurry to it!
First of all, there is a great little party going on that I first saw at Wendy's blog, Pieceful Thoughts, and then also on Carol's Quilt Schmilt, two queens of chasing squirrels who link up regularly here. It's actually hosted by Darlene of Creative Latitude, so you may wish to go check it out, since it's all about squirrels and Dropping Everything to Make it stuff here today.

What caught my eye last month?
Oh my,
THIS!! From Jan at The Colorful Fabriholic:

A true DrEAMi, in that she started it and didn't stop until it was done and dusted, I mean bound and hung on the wall for photos! Stunning! I have a few pieces of striped fabrics I've wanted to play with...

These adorable drawstring bags made by Turid @densyendehimmel in a weekend:
And this adorable mug rug made by Jocelyn of Canadian Needle Nana:

Where is my DrEAMi? Well, on its way to its recipient, so in order to keep it a surprise, I am not posting it just yet but hope to link up by the deadline of Monday midnight! In the meantime, I have another post to write for a finished quilt, so there may be two posts out today!

Link up your squirrel projects below!

  5. Hi Sandra! I am still in denial that we've reached the end of October and that it's time for the DrEAMi link up. And #57 at that - the start of a new year's worth of fun and inspiration and, well, squirrels. Take care!! ~smile~ Roseanne
