The first best part? Seeing the parade, and what a parade it was! Eighteen (counting my throw, newly made for the QAL) quilts linked up. I happen to know of two more that are cut out, and one more that is a flimsy that did not get a separate link in the parade, though Susan, the maker, showed it in with her completely finished quilt.
There were quilters from six countries who quilted along: Canada, US, England, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand! I am just thrilled!
Here once again are my wonderful sponsors.
A huge thank you to them for coming back year after year!

Such a fun way to end the QAL! Thank you to all the sponsors, to you Sandra for your great organising as well as producing a lovely pattern. I'm excited to be on the prizewinners' list :-)
ReplyDeleteThere wasn't anything I didn't like about this QAL. The pace was great for me, with something to do every week and the resulting top is lovely. Looking forward to getting it quilted this fall sometime. Thank you for hosting such a lovely QAL, and of course, thanks to the sponsors.
ReplyDeleteI’m looking forward to sewing with my prize, the strips! Thanks Sandra
ReplyDeleteYour QALs are always fun, with a lovely quilt at the end! Thanks, Sandra, and thanks to your generous sponsors, too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners and a special thank you to you Sandra. Though I finished a top, travel kept me from quilting it and getting you a photo (which will come soon). I always enjoy your QALs and seeing the finished quilts from the other participants. Look forward to next year. And a belated happy birthday to "Dad".
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome quilt along. Congratulations to everyone who made a beautiful quilt or quilts!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for another fabulous quilt along and thank you to your sponsors for all the lovely prizes. I love seeing all the different interpretations of the same pattern and always see something that I hope I will remember and use myself; be it a background fabric that I would never have thought of or a colour combination.
ReplyDeleteLoved doing this again Sandra and thanks to you and your sponsors. Although I don't do FB or IG, I think I saw all the participants quilts on the Link. My baby one was much appreciated & I got to see a week old baby...........he's so little. You just forget how tiny they are as newborns with our 4 all grown and all our grandchildren now taller than me. Thanks again, take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed watching it all!! Congrats to everyone! And thanks Sandra for a fun quilt show!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations all winners! It was a fun QAL! Can’t wait for the next Sandra.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a fun quilt to make. Thanks Sandra for guiding us through it.
ReplyDeleteBig congrats to ALL of the winners. I think each version of Pop Star is the winning one and all are wonderfully unique. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
