 Welcome to the Lyra Quilt Along here at mmmquilts!

This is the main page where you will find the schedule for the QAL. If you are participating, be sure to grab the graphic below and paste it on your sidebar or in your Instagram feed, on Pinterest, wherever you are on social media! I thank you for spreading the word.

As in all but one of the QALs, it is free but there will be a pattern available at some point. I certainly seem to have an affinity for stars: five of my ten quilt alongs to date have stars! Almost all of them have had a layered element to the design. This year’s quilt has stars upon stars.


Below is the schedule which I will update with links as the QAL progresses.

April 3 - QAL Kickoff and Fabric requirements
April 10 - Cutting
April 17 - Green star points and a linkup to share your fabrics
April 24 - Square in a Square units
May 1 - HRT star points
May 8 - Make blocks
May 15 - Make the sashing units and assemble the quilt top
June 15 - Quilt Parade - open for one week; winners announced forthwith
