It’s just a small quilt, 32" by 40", but it makes a statement I think. Then again these are my favourite colours and when combined, yum!

Once again, a simple fat meander |
The back:
This was going to be a donation quilt, and it still may very well be, but I may list it in my Etsy shop and see what happens... I actually feel like I made a bit of a dent in my scraps and strips this year.
It is the absolutely perfect print, no? Since it could easily fit on a width of fabric, I went to my yardage stash, perusing the blues, greens and purples shelves. Well, this Michael Miller print I picked up at Craftsy years ago was just perfect. Sadly, I'd used about 4" of it for I don't know what. Still, the width of the fabric was more than 42", so the length of the quilt fit across it no problem, and I added those inches in a navy tonal.
When I was verifying the name of the fabric, I happened to pull up a Canadian shop, The Quilt Store, where you can get some and?! It's on sale for a terrific price, $11.88/metre! They have it in aqua too, not mmm-nabling my readers, nope...
I finally used a long strip of purple binding from the leftover binding bag with another strip and a half cut from another purple in the same line, made binding short work.
