Well good grief, I nearly forgot about writing the post for Drop Everything and Make it! One of those, oh yeah, gotta do that' thoughts that flit into the brain this past week...and flit back out! I mentally set aside the task for more important things like Postcard from Sweden parade of finishes and writing and making the test quilt for my upcoming quilt along...
I loved this little meme so much last month, and several of you did too, so I'm going to use it once again.

My own DrEAMi happened mid-month and you can read about it by clicking the link in the linkup below. If you feel like making a bag like this, (here I go being mmmdame-nabler again) it's included in the quilt pattern that you see on my sidebar, Positive Flow.
Last month as usual, there were some great squirrel projects that grabbed the maker's attention.
I have been feeling another gingham quilt tickling me with its quivering squirrel whiskers, and when I saw Nancy's at Grace and Peace Quilting....oh my!
Some squirrels grab us and we play with abandon, and then a little glitch happens, and they have to be 'caged' for a wee bit. This beauty is one of those, made by Susan at Granny Smith's Quilting. It is her own design and isn't it gorgeous!
Raewyn at Stitching Farm Girl had the exact same thing happen to her. She got stalled because of lack of a hanky linen.
Makes me want to get out my small collection of Liberty and make a little bag! I've only made one item with my Liberty and that was a bag which was gifted.
Well what has caught your attention this month of March? Link up below!
I love your Positive Flow bags! It's so fun that you turned your quilt pattern into a tote bag, too. It makes me feel the need for a new bag! :)
ReplyDeleteSome great squirrels showing up on your blog. I do love those positive flow bags...I just need more hours in my day! My wallet squirrel will join the parade this month - hooray.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I'm going to miss this month as we are on the road to Sydney to sort out my intellectually disabled brother's next review for the coming year. I did have a couple of things I've made which I'll pop in next month's DrEaMi. Thanks for keeping me motivated, take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteYou keep cooking up fun sew-alongs and projects, don't you? Though I'm not sure of the significance of the spelling of DrEAMi, it looks interesting. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWell, I did have a DrEAMi this month, I don't remember how to link up my IG post and don't have the bandwidth this morning to figure it out. I did go back and add the hashtag though.

Hi Sandra, thanks for the Squirrel party :-) I just started and finished a runner - lots of fun and not at all on the list of many things to do...but it was so good to just make! Your bag is really cute. It sounds like you have a Liberty squirrel in your life somewhere :-) Take care!
ReplyDeleteI seriously need to get back in my DrEAMi cycle - I've been missing them! Love that Positive Flow bag!
ReplyDeleteYaay, fun to see my project feature :-) Although I didn't have a DrEAMi moment this month, I did get my wee sewing folder finished so that, in my eyes, is a real win! I just love the fabrics you used in your bag.
